ich bin Neuling bei Arch und auch in der Linux Welt. Hatte vorher schonmal zum Testen Manjaro installiert. Manjaro hatte aber für mich zu viel vorinstalliert, was ich nicht benötige.
Für mich war dann klar Arch einzusetzen. Hier kann ich nur das installieren was ich benötige, deswegen ist die Distro für mich auch die richtige. Möchte unbedingt von Windows weg.
Zu meinem Problem, habe mehrfach versucht Arch verschlüsselt mit BTRFS und Grub auf einer NVME zu installieren. Nachdem reboot wird mir Grub als Bootloader nicht angezeigt.
Ich möchte gerne BTRFS nutzen, weil ich hier die Möglichkeit habe Snapshost zu erstellen. Ist es überhaupt möglich in dieser Konstellation, das System aufzusetzen oder sollte besser
der Gummiboot Bootloader eingesetzt werden?
Die Installation habe ich so durchgeführt:
- gdisk (dev/nvme1n1) +512M EF00 für Boot, Rest 8300
- mkfs.vfat -L EFIBOOT -F32 /dev/nvme1n1p1
- cryptsetup ... /dev/nvme1n1p2
- cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/nvme1n1p2 luks_arch
- mkfs.btrfs /dev/mapper/luks_arch
- mount ... /dev/mapper/luks_arch /mnt
- btrfs subvol create /mnt/... für root, home, snapshots und pacman/pkg (@, @home .. etc)
- umount -R /mnt
- mount -o rw,ssd,discard,space_cache,noatime,compress=lzo,subvol=@ /dev/mapper/luks_arch /mnt
- mkdir /mnt/boot, /mnt/home, /mnt/var/cache/pacman/pkg und /mnt/.snapshots
- mount -o rw,ssd,discard,space_cache,noatime,compress=lzo,subvol=@home /dev/mapper/luks_arch /mnt/home usw.
- mount /dev/nvme1n1p1 /mnt/boot
- pacstrap /mnt base base-devel btrfs-progs efibootmgr grub vim linux linux-firmware intel-ucode
- genfstab -U -p /mnt /mnt/etc/fstab
- arch-chroot /mnt
- Zeitzone, Hostname, locale-gen nach Wiki angepasst
- HOOKS in der mkinitcpio.conf btrfs und encrypt vor Filesystems hinzugefügt, und unter MODULES crc32c-intel hinzugefugt
- mkinitcpio -p linux
- vim /etc/default/grub angepasst, cryptdevice mit UUID von luks_arch eingetragen.
- grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=GRUB
- grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
- passwd für root
- useradd -mG wheel ...
- passwd username
- pacman -S .. Software nachinstalliert
- exit
- umount -R /mnt
- reboot
