Hallo Forum,
https://wiki.archlinux.de/title/VirtualBox
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VirtualBox#Install_the_Guest_Additions
virtualbox-guest-utils and xf86-video-vmware (FS#61183) for VirtualBox Guest utilities with X support
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/61183
Wie erledigt Ihr die Arbeit?
MfG

– VMSVGA: Use this graphics controller to emulate a VMware SVGA graphics device.
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=243586
I will confirm this:
Host: Arch
Guest: Arch
Virtualbox: 6.0.14
When I installed virtualbox-guest-modules-arch and virtualbox-guest-utils from the repos, I could not get auto sizing to work. I installed it off the ISO using ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run (check mount for the location of the mounted ISO).
Using VMSVGA controller with 3D acceleration enabled, and I am able to auto resize with the specs above. According to
https://superuser.com/questions/1403123 … virtualbox VMSVGA is the better graphics controller to use. That said, now that it is working, I've noticed some display glitches.
Hopefully helps the next googler who comes along..
