Hello dear Arch Users,
Im using Manjaro Linux on an 2016 Dell xps 13. Recently I started to reconfigure the touchpad using the synaptics configuration file at /Usr/Share/X11/Xorg.conf. I copied the File and added some Options, reboot and am now unable to login.
At after the Bootloader menu. It makes the usual comments about Blocks, and than says:
------- psmouse serio1: unable to query device (the first reboot it read: unable to initialize device). --------------
With this message im stuck.
This is a message I read before when I Checked the system using the Journal command. However it so far has posed no consequences whatsoever and the touchpad had always worked just fine.
Id would apreciate any Help on the matter, as for now im unable to boot. The only Fix I have in Mind is to start up Gparted on a Stick and delete the config File.
Best Wishes,
David aka. Gönndalf

First, we are a german speaking forum.
Second, we are an Arch Linux Forum and know not much about Manjaro.
