Moo-Crumpus Hallo, zu meinem Erstaunen taucht das Device meines USB DVD Roms nicht mehr in Archlinux auf. Ich greife nicht mehr sehr häufig darauf zu, daher ist mir nicht klar, wann das verloren ging. Es gibt kein /dev/cdrom, kein /dev/sr0. Der Rechner erkennt das Laufwerk, ich kann davon durchaus booten. Dieses Thema ist so Old-School, dass ich nun verwirrt bin. Kann mir jemand einen Einstieg geben?

Moo-Crumpus OK, nach langer Suche: Gigabyte 990fx-gaming board braucht im BIOS XHCI hand-off - ENABLE EHCI hand-off - ENABLE IOMMU controller - ENABLE sowie GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="amd_iommu=on iommu=soft iommu=pt iommu=1" oder GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="iommu=soft".
