openoffice 2.0.4 ist online! leider sind noch nicht alle server syncron! ich werd mal ausprobieren, ob die fonts besser aussehen....

Das Problem mit den Fonts in OpenOffice ist mit dieser Version bei mir behoben!

Nun hab ich auch seit langem mal wieder ein Problem, welches ich nicht lösen kann.
Habe von Freitag auf Samstag eine LAN-Party gemacht und da musste ich nätürlich wieder Windows installieren. :/
Jetzt hab ich mir wieder Arch installiert, Xorg installiert und eingerichtet und dann letztenlich noch Gnome dazu. Hab mich schon auf Version 2.16 gefreut, aber die Freude war schnell vorbei als ich die Fonts gesehen hab. 🙁
Alles sieht aus wie Konsolen-Fonts, nicht abgerundet (bekomm ich auch nicht unter System--->Einstelungen--->Schrift eingestellt, alle Fonts dort sehen gleich aus und die Kantenglättung geht auch nicht.). Außerdem sind dort nur 9 Fonts auswählbar (zu wenig?).
Hab auch einen Screenshot gemacht.
Ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen! 🙂

dir fehlen wahrscheinlich einige Fonts.
pacman -S xorg-fonts-100dpi xorg-fonts-75dpi ttf-bitstream-font ttf-ms-fonts
könnte Abhilfe schaffen.
Und suche im Wicki nach "Schriftarten".

Es sieht so aus, als hättest du kiene Fonts installiert!
Installiere mal einfach das Paket "ttf-bitstream-vera", das könnte das Problem lösen. Für welche Schriften es sonst noch Pakete gibt, erfährst du hier:

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! meine Augen
Ich hab das Fontprob unter Fluxbox. Menüs werden scharf angezeigt aber sobald ich z.B. Firefox oder Thunar öffne ist Keilschrift angesagt. Fonts sind alle drin die ich finden konnte und im eng. Forum die Posts habe mir auch net weiter geholfen. Hat jemand n Plan?

So, hab jetzt die Fonts installiert, die im Wiki stehen (natürlich nicht die Windows-Dinger da 😉). Jetzt sieht alles ganz "smooth" aus, einzig muss ich in Epiphany und in Firefox noch das Häkchen "Seiten dürfen ihre eigene Shriftart wählen" wegklicken, denn sonst hab ich noch ein paar Probleme mit der Schrift auf Seiten wie dem Forum von Planet3dnow oder AVM.
Ist das normal, dass ich das Häkchen aktivieren muss oder fehlen mir noch Fonts?
