Hallo Zusammen,
ich habe mir zwei neue Monitore gekauft die 2560x1440 Auflösung unterstützen.
Beide habe ich mit einem identischen Display Port Kabel an Anschluß DP1 bzw. DP2 angeschlossen.
Nun kann ich leider nur bei einem Monitor die Auflösung 2560x1440 mit 60Hz einstellen.
Beim anderen Monitor wird mir nur maximal die Auflösung 1920x1080i angeboten mit 15Hz.
Ich habe auch mal mit xrandr rumgespielt aber da komm ich nicht klar bis jetzt. Xrandr meint das 2560x1440 "cannot find mode 2560x1440".
Ich habe auch mal beide Monitore "vertauscht", dann hat eben der andere Monitor das Problem. Somit sind wohl auch beide Monitore prinzipiell in Ordnung erstmal.
Was mich wundert ist das der Monitor der sich nicht konfigurieren lässt schon beim hochfahren und an der Anmeldemaske von archlinux eine andere Auflösung hat wie der andere Monitor. Ist das normal?
Kann mir jemand helfen warum ich nicht auf beiden Monitore die identische Auflösung einstellen kann?
Welche Infos benötigt Ihr noch von mir zu dem Thema?

Kaum schreib ich hab ich das Problem gefunden.......
Ich hab jetzt mal wieder die Kabel hin und her gesteckt um die Monitore nochmal zu überprüfen.
Am Ende habe ich die Display Port Kabel etwas fester reingedrückt und daran gewackelt.
Plötzlich konnte ich jetzt auch bei dem zweiten Monitor die richtige Auflösung einstellen.
Auch xrandr zeigt jetzt beide Monitore gleich an:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 5120 x 1440, maximum 32767 x 32767

Also die Kabel sind auch beide nagelneu..... hat dann jetzt also mein Mainboard einen "Hau"?
Es handelt sich um eine onboard Grafikkarte.
