Kein OpenGL

Hallo Ihrs,

ich habe hier ein ThinkPad T400 mit einem 'Intel Mobile 4 Series Chipset integrated Graphics Controller (rev 7)' laut lspci.
Flightgear funktioniert, aber Blender und Kitty wollen nicht.

Fehlermeldung Blender:

und beide beschweren sich, dass OpenGL 3.3 gefordert sei.
Das aktuelle mesa-Paket habe ich installiert, ebenso gvfs und xf86-video-intel.

Wie sehen denn deine X11 Konfigurationen aus?
PS: Laut Think Wiki hat dein Modell einen Intel GMA 4500 MHD. Dieser unterstützt nach ersten Recherchen OpenGL nur bis 2.1. Also ist es durchaus möglich, dass deine Grafikhardware einfach zu alt ist.

Du meinst den Inhalt von 'xorg.conf.d'?
Da wird lediglich die Tastatur konfiguriert.

Das Problem wird sein: die Grafikhardware vom T400 gibt die geforderte Version schlicht nicht her, wie schard schon nachschob (was aber den Thread nicht nochmal hochgeholt hat, weswegen ich’s nochmal schreibe). Ich hab das gleiche Problem, würde auch gerne noch mit dem Gerät blendern – geht halt nicht. Schade auf eine Art, aber anders gesehen: irgendwann muss man alte Zöpfe auch abschneiden, um Ressourcen freizugeben.
