Guten Tag,
After *gdisk /dev/sda
need partitions: efi (bootloader), root 20GB, swap 2GB, home
*n <-- new partition
*enter <---partition number, 1 default
*enter <---first sector,
*+521M
*ef00 <---EFI System
*n <--- creating root
*enter <---partition number, 2
*enter <---first sector
*+20G <---root size
*enter <--- partition type in hexcode 8300 (default)
*n <--- creating swap
*enter <---partition number, 3
*enter <--- first sector
*+2G <--- swap size
*8200 <--- partion type in hexcode 8200 for swap
*n <--- home
*enter
*enter
*+89g
*enter <--- partition type in hexcode 8300, not sure if 8300 is for /home
After all partitions where created, I foud with *lsblk sda3 with 1K. What could it be?
1000% I did not created such partition.
---
Formating the partitions
Before: lsblk -> boot sda1, root sda2, swap sda4, home sda5
1. EFI: mkfs.fat -F 32 -n EFIBOOT /dev/sda1 (ist supported by my boot loader?) || mkfs.ext2 /dev/sda1
2. Root: mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2 || mkfs.ext4 -L p_arch /dev/sda2
4. Swap: mkswap -L p_swap /dev/sda4
5. Home: mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda5 || mkfs.ext4 -L p_arch /dev/sda4
---
Mounting
umount /dev/sda# - # for sda number
lsblk /dev/sda show all mounted sda
Root:_______________________________________mount /dev/sda2 /mnt || mount -L p_arch /mnt
EFI mounting:_______________________________mount /dev/sda1 /mnt || mount -L p_arch /mnt
Creating the directory for boot (EFI):____mkdir -p /mnt/boot
Connecting boot and the directory:__________mount -L EFIBOOT /mnt/boot || mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot
Creating the directory for home:__________mkdir /mnt/home
Connecting home and the directory:__________mount /dev/sda5 /mnt/home
Turning on swap:____________________________swapon -L p_swap || swapon /dev/sda4

Installing basis system
Mirror download list
*cp /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.bak
*nano /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
strg + o, enter, strg + x
*pacstrap /mnt base base-devel intel-ucode
---
Creating fstab
*genfstab -p /mnt > /mnt/etc/fstab || genfstab -Lp /mnt > /mnt/etc/fstab <--- labels for partitions?
*cat /mnt/etc/fstab <--- control and overview
We see here that sda2 is our root.
SSD preparation
With above *command we have
/dev/sda2 / ext4 rw,relatime,data=ordered 0 1
/dev/sda4 none swap defaults 0 0
we change it into:
*nano /mnt/etc/fstab
/dev/sda2 / ext4 rw,defaults,noatime,discard 0 1
/dev/sda4 none swap defaults,noatime,discard 0 0
strg + o, strg + x <--- quit and safe
---
Switching to operating system environment
*arch-chroot /mnt/ [chroot: failed to run command /bin/bash: No such file or directory]
*root@archiso /#
Noch mal danke.
Grüße,
Gusop
