Hallo zusammen,

I am glad that I could help you a bit 🙂
You are almost right about that rule for managing packages in Arch Linux world, but sometimes it is hard to achieve this 🙂
I have made this package year ago only because I believed in this rule too. It was a happy moment, when I found out that the Qt Installer Framework, which is used as SailfishOS SDK installer, could work headless with predefined script rules.
I am sure, you would not face with any problem, the installer is designed to work only with destination folder, and it doesn't touch any system files.
If you want, you could even not to give privileged rights for the installer. You could install SDK to the user home folder.
One thing you should make is to delete aur package itself from the system before proceeding manual installation, to avoid any future problems, when I update the package. Copy *.run file to any desired place, if you do not want to lose it, and uninstall package via pacman.
You are free to right me at any time, if something goes wrong.
Best wishes
Danke Euch
